The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life

Out of Poverty: What Works When Traditional Approaches Fail
Paul Polak

Cambodia's Curse

Cambodia's Curse - Joel Brinkley Thorough history of the last twenty years. Sad to read though, such corruption and failure of good intentions.

Out of Poverty: What Works When Traditional Approaches Fail

Out of Poverty: What Works When Traditional Approaches Fail - Paul Polak One of my heroes in the space. Very informal voice, not earth shattering writing but gives a good glimpse into the mind of Polak. I love his relentless pursuit of the simple and affordable and his commitment to the most poor.

The Quran

The Quran - Anonymous should be a must read for any serious student of religion

The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ (Official Edition)

The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Most amazing book published in modern times.

No god but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam

No god but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam - Reza Aslan Decent writing, historical analysis of Islam. I find it to be balanced and objective.

1776

1776 - David McCullough very well written, engaging telling of history. Fascinating to see the small and simple things, miraculous weather for example on many occasions, that had such large impacts on the outcome of history.

Lost Scriptures: Books that Did Not Make It into the New Testament

Lost Scriptures: Books that Did Not Make It into the New Testament - Bart D. Ehrman I like that it is straight text without commentary. Very interesting books.

No Man Knows My History: The Life of Joseph Smith

No Man Knows My History: The Life of Joseph Smith - Fawn M. Brodie A monumental publication but quite obvious that she had a bone to pick and extremely poor caliber of academic rigor, but did set the stage for future studies, Rough Stone Rolling is the most balanced and accurate in my opinion.

Temple and Cosmos: Beyond This Ignorant Present

Temple and Cosmos: Beyond This Ignorant Present (The Collected Works of Hugh Nibley, Volume 12) - Hugh Nibley, Don E. Norton, Don Norton fascinating. most interesting to temple going mormons to catch all the references.
